2024-2025 Student Chapters
Sisters Project Peru has members all over the East Coast working to do their part to create accessible healthcare in Huacahuasi, Peru. From recent college graduates to current high school students, we are excited and grateful that so many passionate individuals and teams are willing to lend a helping hand. Let’s see what our student chapters have been up to this year!

Hosted a fall bikeathon at Capital Trail in Richmond where members raised over $200. The MLWGS chapter had a big turnout and it was lots of fun!
In March, collaborated with one of the school’s sports clubs named “Dragons on the Field” in order to host a dodgeball tournament. 5 teams of 5 participated in the active event and raised $100
Tabled at the school’s multicultural assembly where students from different backgrounds performed songs or dances such as Bhangra. Members set up a table outside of the auditorium with many handwoven goods and posters about SPP. The MLWGS chapter raised a couple hundred dollars at this event! Additionally, three students from The Steward School in Richmond joined in to help table at the multicultural assembly to get some experience before starting their own SPP chapter at their school. MLWGS member Chris says, “Our members love to be active and we had 8 members help table and spread awareness at the multicultural assembly.” Keep up the great work!

SPP student chapters are doing amazing work to make sure we strive towards our goal of fundraising to build a health clinic in Huacahuasi, Peru. We’ve made significant progress over the years and have grown so much as an organization, but we couldn’t do it without you. Your donations make a great impact on the tools, products, and tests we use and distribute within the community. On behalf of Sisters Project Peru and its various chapters, thank you for your constant support!
Consider being a monthly donor. Even $10 a month would make a huge impact.
